Think of a project that you have done recently that involves using digital technology. Please:
1. Place a description of the project below in a comment.
2. Place a student completed example of the project in Teacher Large Storage - Digital Projects. Please make sure that you name the file appropriately so I can tell which project it goes with.

At the beginning of our unit: The Lucky Planet, we used Comic Life Magiq to create an 'I think" page for each student. The page had to do with what they thought about the Earth in relation to the solar system(seasons, night and day, gravity).
After the unit was nearly finished, we went back into the same document and changed our "I think" to 'I learned or I know". We compared the documents and posted them.

LA Dictee de Bernard Pivot (www.tv5.org)
Students log onto www.tv5.org, click on the "Dictee de Pivot" link and have a choice of several online dictations. "La dictee de Pivot" is a very popular worldwide francophone dictation. It is specifically known for its difficulty and for reintroducing french speakers to unusual words such as Brouhaha (background noise).
Students are given vocabulary, they then do a first listening in-class. Then practice at home before taking the final dictation in class. The highlight of this activity is that not only can student assess themselves on the spot, but they can also compare their performance with students' worldwide.
