Fit for what evaluation

What techniques did you use in you performance?

We did not use split stage but we every time one of the groups finished preforming the other group would move into their area and they would preform. Split stage is 2 groups of people and you freeze while the other group is preforming. We had a narrator and I think that narrator helped the audience understand what was happening.

Did your keynote help you send a message?

I think that know our keynote did and did not send a message to audience because we didn't put a phrase on the last slide. I think it helped because the pictures that we put on related on the topic.

How could you improve it?

I think that I could have improved my groups performance by helping Lianna and some of the other group members get there lines especially because she missed the lesson that we were practicing. We could have put more work into our acting then into our keynote.

Final Evaluation

Group 2

Good

I think the setting has clear to the audience. Their voices were loud sometimes but all the time.

Improvement

They could have used more props to show their characters.

Group 3

Good

I think that the setting. The Characters where clear to the audience because they had costumes which I think helped show there characters .

Improvement

I think that one of the characters could have brought a costume to show who his character. I think that they could have improved if the students that where absent could have tried to come so they could have learned the production, but again it wasn't there fault that they were sick.

Group 4

Good

I think the setting was clear to audience ass well as the characters in there group. The best things in there group where that some of the characters showed there emotions and they spoke loudly.

Summer Holiday

This summer I am in Canada

I am staying with my grandfather and I am building things and fixing things. So Far me and my grandfather are putting a carpet on the deck. It is hard because there are always air bubbles popping up and it messes it up, also I have built 1 table and 2 chairs. I have seen 1 movie in Canada cars 2, Zoo Keeper, and Captain America. My Grandparents have said that they will also let me see The Smurfs

oil spill

In the gulf of Mexico there is a oil spill. there was a fire on a rig. people tried to stop the oil from spilling by capping the oil. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is a governmental force that looks after what happens in the the oceans and in the atmosphere. They NOAA say about 1,000 barrels of oil is spilling everyday. The crew tried to burn the oil to slow the oil from reaching American soil. they have sent robots under water to stop the leak. The ROV which is a remote operated vehicle tried to make a switch to shut off the leak but the switch malfunctioned. Animals are being covered in oil and are dying. It is dangerous for the birds because the oil can make them lose their feathers and then they can't float on water that well.

UOI

In UOI I learned:
what would happen if factories dumped their waste in the water. This would make the algae grow faster.
how the rain cycle works.
water is important because some people don't have access to clean water and because of that they die.

If people didn't have transportation they would have to walk everywhere.

People need communication to talk to other people around the world.

chinese new year

This Chinese new year I could not go anywhere because I still don't have my passport. When my mum had to go to school in the second week I had to babysit Summer rose, India & Oscar on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday but on Thursday and Friday, only Oscar was there.

I learned how draw better pictures with the art designer some of us got to make a tiger mask.

In the offices I learned who some of the people.

I learned that people contacted them by phone, writting or on the computer.

Canada

On Tuesday it is snowing hard in Canada. I went shoping with my grandparents and got boots and a bear from build a bear workshop his name is Bruno.

On Wednesday I used the snow blowwer and it was still snowwing hard. We had about 25 centimeters of snow.

On Thursday we had about another 10. I went with my grandpa cleaning the driveway and friends house. I am doing homework with my grandpa. I played in the snow and the cold doesn't bother me.

On Firday I went shopping and got the real canadian olimpic shirt. Then we went Mc donalds for mcnuggets and fries. Later we saw alot of fries on a tray and they were for a class of children.

On Saturday we went to a book store and I got diary of a wimpy kid dog days and I got the 39 clues book 1 and 2 because I already got book three at my house and 16 cards. When we got back I help my grandfather wrap some evergreens to protect them from the snow and when I came in my hands were cold.

On Sunday I went on the deck and started to make a snow village and went in the tub later on.

On Monday we took a big bag of groceries to a place that collects food to give to the poor familes at christmas.

On Tuesday I went out four times to continue the snow village and practice my maths every day.

On Wednesday I beat five minutes in my 1-12 tables.

On Thursday reading and school work because it was to cold to go outside to play because the temperature was -14 and windy.

On Friday went to the mall to get a christmas present for my grandma.

On Saturday found a recipe of how to make a chocolate cake in a mug, it was delicious.

On Sunday practicing mathamatics, reading and made a small tent.

On Monday I played in the hot tub and went sledding before I saw the avatar movie.

On Tuesday I made rice krispies with marshmellows with my grandma.

On We Wednesday I went to play outside to continue my snow village.

Today is cristmas eve in st. bruno. We have put some preasents under the christmas tree for tomorrow. I played in the snow to continue making the snow village. Later I went into the hot tub at night and played with the ball and it went into the snow so I had to go in the snow with my bare feet to get it. When I got back in the tub my feet were tingeling.

Today is chistmas day and I got two boxs of lego and I got bakugan that conect to be a big one. I spent the day building them and playing with them. I also got a got a snowboarding t-shirt and two olimypic canada t-shirts. I stayed in the whole day watching tv and play. because something happend to the snow village because my grandpa stepped in it last night when he was going to open the hot tub and then my grandma shoveled it were all the snow was.

On Saturday we stayed in because it was raining so I played with my lego and watched cartoons.

On Sunday we went out to KFC and I got a big box of popcorn chicken then we went to the movies to watch alvin and the chipmunks the squekul. We went to supper at a friends house that is a pilot and he gave me a airplane pin and a canadians hockey T-shirt and I tried to build a 1000 piece puzzle and after a while I played a game on the computer were you get to control a plane. He said when the weather is good he will take me flying and I will be in the front seat and my grandpa will be in the back.

On Monday while my grandpa was in bed me and my grandma went to toysrus to buy a puzzle with 1500 pieces and while we were there I also got a small lego agent set.

On Tuesday we stayed in because the tempature was -28C. I also worked on the puzzle with my grandopa.

On Wednesday we went flying with a friend who is an instructor and has his own small plane. He showed me what to do and then let me fly it for a little while.

On Thursday I went snow boarding on a hill that is close to where we live and them went to an uncles house at night. We stayed up till midnight till it became new years.

On Friday I just watched cartoons and played on my nintendo.

On Saturday I was playing with my lego.

On Sunday I got an early birthday present from my grandma and I was a lego helicopter that we had seen at toysrus.

On Monday I played with my helicopter and got ready to go to Vancouver.

On Tuesday when I got to my uncels house I waited for him to wake up so we could play videogames.

On Wednesday I went to my mum cousins house to play videogames.

Sandvik

On Monday the 2nd of November the grade 4s went to Sandvik for a field trip. We left at 8:15am to catch the bus to gert there. During the ride I sat at the front of the bus with ZeHe and I watched him play a game on his phone for a while and then i just looked out of the window till we were there. When we arrived after a 2 hour bus ride we got into our groups and lined up to go to the canteen to leave our stuff there and listen to Mr. Petrs presentation the first part was about him. He said that he was a wife 2 children and his hobbeys were to drink beer and work for Sandvik. Later on we ate our food for 20 minuets then we got ear plugs to go into the mill that we saw where they turned the tube but they had to wait for gas so we didn't see it. After the tour we got on the bus and waited for Ms. T to come so we could leave. When we were on the bus I sat at the back with Lukas N. Aditya, Sasha and Martin. We were so bored on the bus. Later on we came back and the school bell just rang at the end of lunch so we were waiting for them to go in so the grade 4 could come out to play.

Shang Hai Soccer Trip

Both grade 4 classes went to Shang Hai on the 15th of october. We left At 1:30pm to leave to the classrooms to go the busses. When I Got On I sat at the back of the back of the bus with Sasha, Catherine, Lili-anna, Sumin Bae, Melissa, Sofia S.A. & Alexandra. After a while I started to eat my food but I didn't stop because I hadn't eaten for a while.

Later on at about 6:30pm there was a traffic jam for a least another half hour. When we got there we had to go to the other side of the school to the cafiteria a a bove it was a place that people worked but we sleeped there. After that we went down and sat down so we could get ready to eat pizza and they had my favorite kind of pizza Hawaiian and Margareta pizza. I had Hawaiian Before I had Margareta Pizza.

After that we went outside to play games the games that I played were Ghost in the graveyard and tag. a few minutes later Mr. fielke called us and said that we play a ames altogether (the whole grade four) during the game me and Hykle started to cough so we went upstaris to get our medicine. When we went back out we saw that they had started a new game. In that game Hykle and I got caught so we tried to catch the others.

Later on we went to take our showers in the changing room I took my shower fast because I knew that the water would be cold.I was the first one two get out of the shower and line up. I stood there for a while because the other waited for there water to warm up or they had to brush there teeth.

When we got back I read a bit then they turned off the lights and we could whisper to each other for a while then we would have to go to bed. 10 Minutes later I started to cough so I took more medicine but it didn't work so 3 minutes later I strated to cough a lot so mr fielke brought me downstairs and I got a cup of water and went back up and had a candy that I could suck because that would stop me from couthing for a while. I managed to stop couthing but when I was asleep I started to couth but I didn't notice untill everybody was telling me about. In the morning I woke up and everyone was telling me about that I was coughing all night.

After the schools were introduced we started to get ready for that the game In the second game I saved a goal, in the third game we got a tie and in the fourth game we lost. after are games A while later we told are instructions to get our bags and wait downstairs.

When I got on the bus I sat at the back with Sasha. We got our sandwiches and I found tomao in mine In took it out and it in the bag. When we all ate are sandwiches an Lili-anna was still hungry so Mr. Fielke gave her a banana to eat then they were saying thankyou over ands over again.

When we got to staion that you could go to the bathroom we saw a car that had crashed about a year ago. Everyone went to the car to the car to look at it but first we had to go bathroom and then we could come back and look at it. we got on the bus and saw that the other bus has just arrived so for some reason I was wondering why we weren't going. I went to Mr. Fielke and asked him why we weren't going and he said that we were going to wait for the other bus so I sat down and wacthed the other class get on the bus so we could leave to go back to nanjing but it took a while because they were looking at the broken car. When we started to move we saw that the other bus was ahead

of us and Sasha and i kept on saying beat that bus but we didn't pass it. On the way I ate most of the food that was left for a while. Then I was looking outside till me got to N.I.S. but it took a while. When we got there we were so tired so we got instructions a left.

My Hero

My hero is my mum because she takes care of us most of the time. My dad is not here a lot because he work works most of the time in Hong Kong & London. She works full time she coaches volley ball, she helps us with are homework and she helps other kids with there homework too. When my friends come to play she feeds them as well. She helps the every one with stuff she helps them order water, she takes the to the market, she helps them get to the tailor ect.

Student Council

Last Friday the 21st, I went to Motel 168 for the Student Council retreat. Francis, Pascal, Angela, Tim, Helena, Gloria, Michelle, and Issey are some of the people who went with me. We tried to find new ideas for the school. We planned new spirit days. We were given snacks and lunch. I got to help with the lunch. I had to help carry the heavy sandwiches. The MYP student council were also there but they did their own stuff in groups. I am happy that I am on student council because I have never tried this before.

A Bat

This weekend there was a bat in my house. I didn't see it because I was in the shower. My mum said that we should open the windows when there is a bat in the house and to leave the room. And also she put her bike helmut on because she heard that if a bat grabs on to your hair, it won't let go. She was freaked out because she couldn't get to the window to open it. She said that the bat was flying in circles like crazy.
